The owner, Rainer Mueckenberger, has been a practising nudist since his teens. His retreat has been a much-loved slice of paradise, but the time came to sell when his elderly mother in Germany needed his care.
When we came across the listing on Gumtree, we just knew that it sounded like us!

While technically a property could sell for as little as $1, in the right market a no-reserve auction appeals to as wide an audience as possible while still getting a great price.
And the gamble well and truly paid off!
This two-bedroom unit sold for nearly $100,000 more than the complex record in April 2021.

We followed up every lead, and the eventual buyers had in fact showed early interest and then backed off. We kept in touch, and eventually the time was right for them to make an offer.
Fortunately the stars were aligned, and the offer was once the owner was willing to accept.
